Sean's our ringer. He had to be there. You see, Sean's sung for England before. He's played at Wembley too. Heck he's a sporting sensation. And (most important) he can actually carry a tune!
Tony and Sean first hooked up at Headingley last summer when Sean was performing at the Test matches — inspiring England to Ashes glory with his renditions of Jerusalem.
Fact is Sean's a pro: a tenor who spends his nights treading the boards at the likes of Covent Garden and Holland Park. He's one of the opera world's rising stars. Check out his website!
But he's a sports nut too. He's sung the national anthem at several England football internationals and he recently recorded a version of Nessun Dorma for the soundtrack of 'One Night in Turin', a special film version of Pete Davies' best selling book about England's World Cup adventures in Italy in 1990.
Sean's bit is used in a key part of the video — accompanying the crucial penalty shoot out against the Germans. Let's not go there now…
Oh and he can run a bit too. He recently clocked 48 minutes for the Manchester 10k. Not bad going when especially when you consider he had to sing to the crowds before the start!
